Progress to Date
We have completed the foundational work needed to begin production once Nureen is registered, inshallah.
- Mapped basic Islamic fundamentals for the Quran, Arabic, History, and Habits apps
- Planned future expansion to merchandise and Story creator app
- Created a detailed Minimal Viable Product (MVP) blueprint for the Quran Adult version (for fluent readers)
Six-Month Plan
Organizational Setup (Months 1–2)
- Recruit board members
- Register Nureen as a nonprofit
Product Development (Months 2–6)
- Finalize MVP specifications for the Quran app with the board
- Engage external developer to begin MVP production
- Conduct parallel fundraising and planning for subsequent app expansions
- Pilot test the MVP and implement improvements
- Launch MVP publicly on website and app stores
Growth Strategy
The MVP includes a donation mechanism to fund expansions. We will initially work linearly—completing one app stage before moving to the next. Once Nureen gains sufficient people and resources, small teams will execute projects in parallel, accelerating development across all four core apps.
Merchandise will launch once we reach a meaningful user base. The Stories app will follow, developed with a volunteer editorial board to ensure quality and community alignment. Future developments will be determined collaboratively with our team and the community we serve.
Our organizational structure reflects our values: we operate through self-managed teams, honor the wholeness of each contributor, and remain aligned with our evolutionary purpose of transforming Islamic education.
