Communications & Partnerships Lead
Purpose
Build Nureen’s visibility, manage stakeholder relationships, and drive fundraising through strategic communications and partnership development.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute communications strategy across website, social media, newsletters, and case studies
- Create compelling narratives about Nureen’s mission for donors, partners, and users
- Manage relationships with potential funders, including foundations, individual donors, and corporate sponsors
- Coordinate press outreach and thought leadership initiatives, including articles and speaking engagements
- Oversee partnerships with organizations such as Fahm Institut and Islamic media outlets
- Track and report on brand awareness and engagement metrics
- Support fundraising campaigns and grant applications
Qualifications
- Marketing, communications, or public relations experience (non-profit preferred)
- Demonstrated fundraising success with grants, individual donors, or corporate partnerships
- Strong writing and storytelling skills
- Understanding of Islamic communities and values-based marketing
- Social media and digital marketing proficiency
Time Commitment
5–7 hours per month
