Our Plan
At Nureen, we have mapped out plans for multiple apps covering basic Islamic fundamentals. The next phase focuses on execution. May Allah bless these plans and help us achieve them with His guidance and the support of our community.
Progress to Date
We have completed the foundational work needed to begin production once Nureen is registered, inshallah.
- Mapped basic Islamic fundamentals for the Quran, Arabic, and Habits apps
- Planned future expansion to merchandise and Story creator app
- Created a detailed Minimal Viable Product (MVP) blueprint for the Quran Adult version (for fluent readers)
Six-Month Plan
Organizational Setup (Months 1–2)
- Recruit board members
- Register Nureen as a nonprofit
Product Development (Months 2–6)
- Finalize MVP specifications for the Quran app with the board
- Engage external developer to begin MVP production
- Conduct parallel fundraising and planning for subsequent app expansions
- Pilot test the MVP and implement improvements
- Launch MVP publicly on website and app stores
Growth Strategy
The MVP will include a donation mechanism to fund expansions. We will initially work linearly—completing one app stage before moving to the next. Once donation flow reaches sustainable levels, we will hire a project manager and small teams to execute projects in parallel, accelerating development across all three core apps.
Merchandise will be produced once there is sufficient user base. Then the Stories app will be developed with a volunteer editorial board. Future developments beyond this point will be determined collaboratively with the team and community input.
